Although Jian Chuan is not deeply connected with the outside world through tourism as the main media, with the development of mobile Internet and logistics industry, modern lifestyle has penetrated into this ancient settlement in remote areas of China where ethnic minorities live. Yet even if it is easy for them to buy clothes online, there are still plenty of tailor shops with vintage sewing machines in the compact shopping streets of the old town centre.

Therefore, I chose this theme and completed the work combining interior design and illustration expression to record and commemorate the tailor shop at this particular time, in a specific region and under a specific background.
